Shabab Alahli assistant coach Diego attended the prematch press conference in behalf of the head coach Rodolfo Arruebarrena, heading to the matchweek 17 of the Arabian Gulf League against Baniyas at Baniyas Stadium on Friday, he was accompanied by our rising star Eid Khamis.
The coach stated that his team returns to the league after short break to face Baniyas again after losing to them in the UAE President’s cup, pointing out that Shabab Alahli was under pressure after four matches without winning.
Diego explained that his team will face a strong team, hoping that the players will do their best and try to come back to winning ways.
Commenting on the situation of the injured players, the coach explained that they are waiting for the return of the players who didn’t participate in the previous matches, adding that Leonardo returned and trained with the group, but the technical staff will check if he can be available for the next match or not.
Eid Khamis who accompanied the coach at the press conference confirmed that they will fight to get the three points. He said: “We are still in the top of the league table and will continue working hard to finish on the top”.
