Shabab Alahli finishes Second in AG League
Shabab Alahli finished second in the Arabian Gulf League with 53 points from 26 matches, after losing to Fujairah 3-1 In the matchweek 26 of the league at Shabab Alahli stadium in Alawir Saturday night.
Mauro Diaz opened the score for Shabab Alahli in 15th minute after he received brilliant pass from Emiliano inside the box. Second goal for Shabab Alahli scored by Lovanour was cancelled according to the Video Assistance Referee decision.
The referee awarded the hosts a penalty, but Shabab Alahli goalkeeper Majed Naser saved the shot of Fujairah striker Mohamed Bin Yatto, in the 39 minute, Bin Yatto came back to score the first goal for his side and the first half ended 1-1.
In the second half Fernando Gabriel scored the second goal for Fujairah from penalty spot in the 70th minute, while Samuel Roza made it 3-1 when he added the third goal in the dying minutes.
This result enables Fujairah to avoid relegation with 21 points.

Shabab Alahli vs Fujairah Pre-match Press Conference
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena confirmed that his team is ready for the next game against Al Fujairah in the matchweek 26 of the Arabian Gulf League on Saturday at Shabab Alahli Stadium in Al Awir.
Rodolfo explained that Shabab Alahli had secured the second spot in the table, but will do their best to win the last match in the league, calling upon his players to concentrate more and try to give their best.
The coach expected tough match since Fujairah needs the three points to escape from relegation, and in such cases the opponent usually fight hard to win, hoping that the team can finish the league registering new victory.
Regarding the squad for the match he said: “I always choose the best players for each match, I will see who are the players available and select my starting list”.
“I think it was a successful season, we won two titles that are very important for our fans. In the league, despite the difficult start, we came back to finish in the second spot”. He added.
From his side Shabab Alahli player Adel Wijdan who accompanied the coach in the press conference said: “the next game will be against a strong team, and we have to be more serious in order to continue winning. Shabab Alahli Beats Baniyas to Secure Second Spot
Shabab Alahli recorded their 17th win in the Arabian Gulf League this season to secure the second place with 53 points, after beating visitors Baniyas 4-1 in the matchweek 25 at Shabab Alahli Stadium in Alawir on Wednesday night.
Shabab Alahli dominated the match from the kickoff, and created some chances, but against the run of the play Baniyas scored the first goal through Michael Ortega in the 6th minute.
After conceding the early goal, the hosts continued their attempts to equalize, and in the 16th minute the defender Mohamed Sabeel leveled the score when he received the ball inside the box and sent powerful shot into the back of the net.
After half an hour from the start Mauro Diaz scored the second goal, to make it 2-1.
In the second half Shabab Alahli scored more two goals, in the 84th minute Ayouve converted the penalty, and Louvanour made it 4-1 in the last minute.
Shabab Alahli vs Baniyas Pre-match Press Conference
Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena held the pre-match press conference, heading to the matchweek 25 of Arabian Gulf League against Baniyas at Shabab Alahli stadium in Alawir on Wednesday.
Arruabarrena explained that the match is important for his team adding that they are looking forward to continue winning to maintain the second place and wait to see the results of the other matches.

Shabab Alahli defeats Alnasr to reach point 50
Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 50 points after winning a Alnasr 3-1 in the matchweek 24 of the Arabian Gulf League at Al Maktoum Stadium on Friday night.
Shabab Alahli maintained second place, just three points behind the top table Sharjah before their match against Alwasl on Saturday.
Shabab Alahli started the match with massive attack, and Mohamed Marzouq opened the score in the 12th minutes from a header, eight minutes later Ahmed Khalil made it 2-0 when he scored the second from free kick.
In the last minute of the first half, Alnasr reduced the deficit by Sergio Dutra.
The second half was quite until the 88th minute when the referee awarded a penalty for Alnasr, but Majed Nasser saved the penalty to keep the result 2-1.
Lovanour Henrique scored the third goal in the in the first minute of the added on time to secure the victory for his side.

Khalil’s brace gives Shabab Alahli deserved win over Aldhafra
Ahmed Khalil scored two goals and assisted one to lead Shabab Alahli to beat Al Dhafra 3-2 in the matchweek 23 of the Arabian Gulf League, at Shabab Alahli stadium in Al Awir on Friday.
Shabab Alahli reached 47 points in the second place, and narrowed the gap with the top table Sharjah to six points.
Shabab Alahli dominated the game from the start, and in the 12th minute, Ahmed Khalil broke the deadlock for his team from a long range free kick strike to give his side an early 1-0 lead.
15 minutes later Ahmed Khalil Khalil assisted Abdulaziz Haikal with brilliant pass and Haikal easily finished the ball in the back of the net.
In the last minute of the official time of the first half, Al Dhafra reduced the deficit with own goal scored by Shabab Alahli player Majed Hassan.
In the 57th minute Suhail Almansouri leveled the score from the penalty spot.
Six minutes to the final whistle Ahmed Khalil again sent the ball into the net from free kick to secure the three points for Shabab Alahli.

Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena held the pre-match press conference for matchweek 23 of the Arabian Gulf League, against Aldhafra on Friday at Shabab Alahli in Al Awir. The coach started by congratulating all the club members for winning the UAE President’s Cup, promising to continue fighting in the league matches.
The coach admitted that the match is not like other games of the AG League, pointing out that in such cases after the team gets big achievement, there may be some relaxation and players may not be in full concentration, confirming that the technical staff will work hard to keep the players focused.
Rodolfo described the game as difficult, indicating that the opponent proved their strength in the final match of the UAE President’s Cup, and showed that they are one of the strongest teams in the UAE now.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference of the UAE President’s Cup final, Rodolfo Arruabarrena Shabab Alahli head coach, stressed the importance of the upcoming match against Aldhafra on Monday at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Alain, pointing out that his side is keen to win the match and achieve the most valuable cup.
He said that the chances are equal before the start of the game, indicating that in such finals there is no place for statistics, stating that nobody can predict who will win and crowned as champion.
The coach said Shabab Alahli will fight to win President’s Cup to ensure participation in the AFC Champions League for the next season, calling on the players not to relax, emphasizing that the game will be difficult, because Aldhafra is a good team with a great ambition.
