Shabab Alahli and Baniyas shared the spoil after they drew 0-0 in the matchweek 11 of the Arabian Gulf League at Rashid stadium on Saturday.
Shabab Alahli moved to 8th place in the table with 15 points, while Baniyas has 20 points in the 4th place.
Shabab Alahli started the match with lineup: Majed Naser, Walid Abbas, Hamdan Alkamali, Yusuf Jaber, Abdelaziz Haikal, Abdellah Alnaqbi, Majed Hassan, Aziz Janief, Isamil Alhammadi, Mohamed Juma and Igor Jesus.
In the second half Carlos Eduardo was introduced in place of Ismail Alhammadi, and Hareb Abdellah replaced Mohamed Juma.
Speaking at the post match press conference Mahdi Ali the head coach of Shabab Alahli stated that his team was the better side in the match and the players did well.
He said: “we have clear chances but unfortunately we did not score, we will work hard to correct mistakes and be more effective in the next matches”.
