Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahli have qualified for the final match of HH the President of the UAE Volleyball Cup, scheduled for 7:30 pm on Friday, at the stadium of Al Jazira Club Lounge.
The two teams advanced to the final, after successfully passing the semi-finals of the tournament the day before yesterday, as Al Ain beat Al Nasr by three games without charge, and Al Ahli youth on Al Wasl with the same result.
Tomorrow’s final will be the fourth encounter between the two teams in less than a month, after they met three times in the playoff final on the men’s volleyball General Shield, which was crowned Al Ain, after winning the final in the final round, to make up for their loss. Al-Ahli then won the decisive third meeting, which also took place at Al-Jazira Club Hall
It is worth mentioning that Al-Nasr was crowned champion of the Vice President’s Cup at the beginning of the season, and after Al Ain win the league shield, Al-Ahli youth are looking for a championship this season, which will conclude the President’s Cup.
On the other hand, Al-Nasr and Al-Wasl will meet at 5 pm today in the final of the Youth Volleyball Cup at Al-Ahli Youth Club Stadium in Al-Mamzar.
It is worth mentioning that the victory, had been crowned a few weeks ago as a champion of the Youth League, after providing strong performances and results during the tournament, and is looking forward to achieve the double win the cup as well, which will be the last competitions of that age group.
