Paulo Sousa: waiting for our fans to motivate the players against Bani Yas

Speaking at the prematch press conference, our head coach Paulo Sousa, stated that the team is coming back from long break after 18 day to face Bani Yas in the 3rd matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League, on Thursday at Rashid Stadium emphasizing the great importance of the match hoping that fans would come in large numbers to motivate the players.

The coach explained that they are excited to return to face a difficult season that requires a lot of work. He said, “We have many matches until the end of September, so we must be at our best level, and maintain a strong mentality to overcome difficulties. This is what we always do in decisive moments, to continue striving for victory and nothing else.”
The coach spoke about Bani Yas, saying, “We will face a wounded opponent who is hungry for points and deserves a better position. Bani Yas has developed greatly on both the individual and collective levels, so we must be a passionate, attacking team that creating chances and scoring goals, and respect the opponent in the counterattack.”
