Speaking at the rematch press conference Shabab Al Ahli coach Paulo Sousa explained that the team has an important match ahead against Uzbekistan’s Nasaf in the AFC Champions League Elite.
He noted that the match is in a different competition emphasizing that every match is different, whether at home or away.
The coach spoke about Nasaf, saying, “We know our opponents well, having faced them last year, and the match was full of difficulties.”
Paulo described Nasaf coach as an experienced coach who leads this club in the league, and he deserves more points than he has already earned in this competition.
He added, “We are working to decide the lineup for tomorrow’s match due to injuries and absences.
He said: “We are fighting hard to achieve a positive result and demonstrate the professionalism that has distinguished us and made us a solid team that has conceded only two goals. We are also working on the offensive side by creating chances to score to achieve victory.”
