MAG Lifestyle Development, the real estate development arm of MAG Group Holding established since 1978, became the platinum sponsor of the first football team of the Shabab Al Ahli Club for the 2020-2021 season, after the two parties signed a strategic partnership agreement.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Moafaq Ahmed Al Gaddah, Chairman and Founder of MAG Group Holding and MAG Lifestyle Development, Talal Moafaq Al Gaddah, Senior Executive Vice Chairman of MAG Lifestyle Development, and H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, H.E. Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, and H.E. Hisham Abdullah Al Qasim, Members of the Board of Directors of Shabab Al Ahli Football Club.
Talal Moafaq Al Gaddah, Senior Executive Vice Chairman of MAG Lifestyle Development, explained that the selection of Shabab Al Ahli Football Club came from the bright history of the club, expressing the company’s pride in entering into a partnership agreement with one of the oldest sports clubs in the UAE.
He said: “We are keen to sponsor Shabab Al Ahli Football Club as one of the largest sports institutions in the country, and an important and fundamental pillar in the sports development system that we seek. I hope that this agreement will help the club in achieving more championships and titles that are added to its track record of achievements.”
For his part, Abdullatif Alsayegh, Marketing Advisor at Shabab Al Ahli Football Club, considers the agreement a new and important step towards the community responsibility of the club, and an extension of its cooperation with national institutions wishing to support and sponsor sports, stressing the importance of integrating roles and coordination between sports clubs and national companies in order to raise the UAE’s standing in the field of sports.
