Jardim: I respect Al Hilal and focus more on my team

Speaking at the prematch press conference heading to Al Hilal KSA match in the 16th round of AFC Champions league, our head coach Leonardo Jardim, stressed that the match brings two great teams competing to next stage.

The coach hoped that the fans will enjoy the game, adding that he believes that Al Hilal is strong team, but he is always focusing on his team and working to prepare the players well to face strong opponents.

He said: “We know that we will face the champions of Asia and club world cup runner up, everyone knows that Al Hilal has always been ready for this project for many years, they have good players who participated in the World Cup with the Saudi national team.”

The coach talked about Shabab Alahli project, “We our own project, our team depends on number of young players with some other players who have experience. We are currently competing in the UAE League, and we strive to achieve our ambitions in all competitions.”

Our team captain Majed Nasser, expected a difficult match against Al Hilal, pointing out that each team will fight to win, stressing that as players they will make every effort to achieve their goal.

Majed Nasser pointed out that Shabab Alahli has a group of promising young players and said: “Our team depends on young players, and we, on our part, as experienced players, will do our best to help them in the match and support the team to achieve a good result.”

Majed Nasser expressed his happiness to be in Doha, praising the efforts made by Qatar in hosting all world championships and AFC competitions.
