Marko Nikolic:  looking forward to having a full house

Speaking at the prematch press conference, our head coach Marko Nikolic, said that the team is prepared well for the next match against Al-Wahda in the 4th matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League on Friday 8:00 pm at Rashid Stadium, indicating that it is considered the team’s first big match in the current season, adding that Al-Wahda is a strong team and has good players.

He said: “Our preparations for the match went well, and we are continuing with the policy of rotation trying to give more playing time for the players. I have faith on the team and all players, and there is great competition within the team, and therefore the players need to make a greater effort and fight to start matches.”

The coach called upon Shabab Alahli fans to come and support the players in this important match and said: “I hope to see stands full of fans. The presence of a large number of supporters is very important for the players. We started the league well and secured nine points in three matches, and we need to continue.”


Our player Walid Abbas, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, described the match as difficult, pointing out that Al-Wahda is a strong and team, stressing the need for full focus for 90 minutes, so that they can achieve the result that will make fans happy.
