Sierra: negative results will not affect the team
Speaking in the post-match press after losing against Al Wahda in Arabian Gulf Cup, Shabab Al Ahli Head Coach Jose Luis Sierra, disclosed that his team was the better side in the match, considering the loss as an unfair result compared to the performance of the two teams, indicating that the Shabab Al Ahli deserved to get a better result.
The coach saw his team is progressing, adding that the players did very well, and created many chances but unfortunately didn’t score, he said negative results will not affect the team, and the technical staff will continue working and talking with players, to maintain the high sprit and confidence.
Regarding the participation of junior players in Arabian Gulf Cup matches, the coach commented, “its good idea, it is applied in most of the countries over the world, and each experience has pros and cons, I hope the experience will continue overcome negatives and enhance positives”.
