Shabab Alahli head coach Paulo Sousa confirmed the difficulty of the upcoming match against Khorfakan, as part of Matchweek 8 of the ADNOC Pro League. He explained that the match is against an opponent whose performance has improved significantly compared to last season.
He said: “Khorfakan have very good players on an individual level; they are physically strong and have developed well. They are a very well-organized team defensively, and they have great ability in counter-attacks, and corners. This will require a lot from us.”
Sousa underlined the need to create more chances to score goals to secure the points. He said: “We must be ourselves and work on showing our football identity, as we do in every match, so that we can achieve our objective.”
