President’s Cup Final prematch press conference

Speaking at the prematch press conference, Mahdi Ali, Shabab Alahli head coach, stressed the importance of the match against Al Nasr in the President’s Cup Final, at Hazza Bin Zayed stadium tomorrow 7:35 pm, adding that the match will not be easy for the two teams.

Mahdi Ali explained that they need to be ready psychologically, physically, and technically for the big clash, he admitted that the game needs more concentration and focus, adding that each team will do his best to win and be the champion of the cup that has the beloved name of His Highness, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan the President of the UAE.

“We hope to win this precious trophy to finish the season in the right way, I think the team that more will win, we prepared the players well for the match and we have no injuries,” said Mahdi.

He added: “Am concentrating on my team and how to prepare the players for the final, regardless of what is happening in the other side with our opponent that may miss some key players, am happy to see fans coming back again and looking forward to make them happy”.

Carlos Eduardo who accompanied the coach in the press conference said: “the key for tomorrow’s match is work, we worked hard last week, and are fully ready, we did not start the season well, but with Mahdi everything changed and we achieved two cups, I have good memories in this  stadium, and hope to make  new memories tomorrow”.
