Shabab Al Ahli raised their tally to 10 points, to stay in the second place after beating Baniyas 2-0 in the matchweek 4 of the Arabian Gulf League, at Rashid Stadium on Saturday.
Leonardo De Souza took the lead for home team in the 38th minute, and David Mariani added the second goal in the 43rd minute. The loss is the first for Baniyas this season, in the league and the cup.
Shabab Alahli was the better side in the match, their ball possession was 61% while Baniyas 39%.
