Shabab Al Ahli wins Al Ain 1-0 in a postponed game from matchweek seven at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Friday to reach the top of ADNOC Pro League table.
Sardar Azmoum gave Shabab Al Ahli the lead in 34 minutes when Rikelme Hernandes sent the ball to Guilherme Da Silva inside the box, who rounded the ball to Sardar Azmoum, who smashed his finish into the back of the net. Al Ain were awarded a penalty, but goalkeeper Hamad Abdullah Almeqbaali was the hero as he parried away Laba Kodjo’s powerful shot from the spot. The result means that Shabab Al Ahli are now topping the table with 29 points, while Al Ain are sixth with 19 points.
