Shabab Alahli topped Group A in the Arabian Gulf Cup with 10 points after beating their host Ittihad Kalba 1-0 in the matchweek 5 on Friday’s Kalba Stadium.
Luvanour scored the winning goal in the 81st minute, after he received the ball from David and sent it to the back of the net.
The win is the third for Shabab Alahli in five games played so far in the championship, winning three, drew in one and lost one.
Shabab Alahli line up: Hassan Hamza, Mohamed Marzouq, Ahmed Abdullah, Mohamed Ismail, Abdullah Al Naqbi, Saud Abdul Razzaq, Marwan Fahd, David Mariani, Luvanour and Ahmed Al Attas, Ahmed Jishk and Adel Wijdan were substitutes for Marwan Fahd and Saud Abdul Razzaq in the second half.
