The new coach of Shabab Alahli, Gerard Zaragoza held the prematch press conference heading to the matchweek 19 of the Arabian Gulf League against Ajman.
The coach started by sending his thanks to the club management, for giving him this great opportunity to lead the first team, and extended his thanks to the players, who showed that they are ready and fully focus and believe that the league is still in our hands.
Gerard stated that his ambition is the ambition of the team, which is winning the league title, pointing out that the team is under the pressure from all teams in the league.
He added: “but sure we are in less pressure than them because we are on the top from October, what is important is to be on the top at the end of the league”.
The coach assured that they must respect Ajman and all teams in the league, he said: “me and my staff watched different gamed for Ajman, they are good team, and we know how to defend and from where to attack them”.
From his side Shabab Alahli player who accompanied the coach in the press conference said: “we are all keen to give our best in the next match, now we have a new coach, we respect him and will cooperate with the technical staff to return to the winning ways”.
