Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruebarrena, stressed the importance of the tomorrow’s match against the Saudi team Alhilal in the second round of the AFC Champions League group stage.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference held this afternoon in the press conference hall at Rashid Stadium, the coach stated that his team will face strong opponent, that has good and experienced players.
Rodolfo praised the great work done by the players after their return from Uzbekistan, indicating that the technical staff have prepared the team in an ideal way and worked hard to improve the performance in order to get the better result.
According to the coach the trio Leonardo Desouza , Mohamed Jumaa and Walid Abbas, will not be available for the match, due to injuries, hoping that they can come back soon.
from his side, Shabab Alahli midfielder Walid Hassan, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, said: “it is very important match against the title holder and champion of the last edition, we respect our opponent, we know they are strong team, we will do our best and fight to secure the three points”.
He added: “We wait for the fans of the team despite the timing of the match and I expect a large audience. ”
Commenting on the last match between the two teams in the Asian Championship, he said: “We won Alhilal when we last met in AFC Champions league, this fact can give us more power and motivate us to fight for victory”.
