Shabab Alahli Head Coach Jose Luis Sierra held a press conference on Sunday October 7, at Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium, heading into the game against Al wasl in the 3rd round of the Arabian Gulf Cup, at Zabeel stadium on October 9.
The coach insisted that the cup matches are no less important than league matches, stating that the team needs to win, especially after losing the first game in the competition against Alwahda, describing the match as very difficult against tough opponent.
Sierra revealed that the squad will see some changes due to the absence of the first and Olympic national team players, and some other players for injuries and suspension, considering the game as a good opportunity for the substitute players.
Shabab Alahli player Waleed Hussein, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, expressed the desire of the players to achieve a positive result that enhances the team’s chances to qualify to the next stage, promising to give their best to secure the three points.
