Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena congratulated his players for winning Baniyas in the matchweek 6 of the Arabian Gulf Cup and qualifying to the quarter final, speaking at the post match press conference, he stated that Shabab Alahli was the better side in the first half, created many chances and scored two goals, but conceded late goal due to the lack of concentration.
Rodolfo saw that cup matches were good opportunity to give the chance to some players who are not participating in the league, pointing out that the team showed strong character in some matches and was able to come back and win, stressing the importance of enhancing the pros and seeking to avoid negatives.
Regarding preparations for the league he said “We will give the players a short break before we return to training to prepare well for Al Dhafra in the matchweek 10 of AG League. Al Dhafra is a strong team and deserves more points than they has won, we will be careful to prepare well to achieve the desired result”.
