Mahdi Ali Shabab Alahli head coach, held the prematch press conference at the conference hall in king Fahd International Stadium, heading to the 5th match of the group stage in AFC Champions league on Tuesday, against Istiklol of Tajikistan, accompanied by our player Eid Khamis.
Mahdi Ali stated that the match is important for both teams, and the result of the last round shows that all teams in the group are strong and have the chance to qualify, he highlighted that his team is motivated after winning last game and will fight to continue winning.
Mahdi described the opponent as very strong and well organized team, he said: “in the first match against Istiklol we had many chances but failed to score, we need more concentration achieve our goal, we may make minor changes in the starting 11 as we are giving chances to new players”.
Eid Khamis said: “the match is important for us, we are expecting tough game against strong opponent, we are in good moral after winning AGMK in the last match, all players are ready and keen to give all what they have”.
