Shabab Al Ahli extended their lead at the top of the ADNOC Pro League’s table raising its tally to 55 points after a big 4-0 win over Khorfakkan in matchweek 22 at Rashid Stadium.
Munas Dabbur opened the score in the 38th minute to put Shabab Al Ahli in front.
The substitute Sardar Azmoum cemented the Dubai-based side lead when he towered above Khorfakkan’s defense to head in Yuri Cesar’s cross, while Kauan Santos Silva added in the 66th minute.
Shabab Al Ahli were awarded a penalty kick due to a handball on defender Abdalla Elrefaey. Cartabia stepped up and stroked the ball into the top corner ten minutes before the time to make it 4-0.
