Shabab Alahli qualified to 16 round of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25, after winning Uzbekistan’s Nasaf 3-2 win over in Dubai on Wednesday.
Mateusao Lima opened the score for the home team in 23rd minute, and Nasaf scored the equalizer in the 30th through Akmal Mosgovoy, then Sardar Azmoun scored two goals in two minutes to give his side lead in the 32nd and 34th minutes.
Zoran Marusic was also on target for the visitors on the stroke of halftime in a goal-filled first period.
The win moves Shabab Alahli onto 13 points from their six games and confirms Paulo Sousa’s side as winners of the group while Nasaf finish bottom of the standings on four points and are eliminated.
