Shabab Alahli back to the winning ways after beating Hatta 3-0 in the matchweek 4 of the Arabian Gulf League at Shabab Al Ahli Stadium in Al Awir.
Thanks to the 19 years old Brazilian Igor Jesus who scored hat-rick to give Shabab Alahli their second win in the league, the result helped Shabab Alahli to move to the 4th place with 8 points.
20 minutes from of the kickoff Igor Jesus opened the score for the home side, after receiving cross ball from Heldon Ramos inside the box.
After the break Shabab Alahli continued striking, and Heldon Ramos crossed the ball again to Igor inside the box to score the second goal in 51th minute, two minutes later the young Brazilian completed the hat-rick from Aziz Ganiev’s perfect cross.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Shabab Alahli head coach Gerard Zaragosa sent his thanks to the players for the good performance, praising the young talented player Igor Jesus who scored three goals, and Heldon Ramos who replaced the injured Cartabia and did well in the match.
“We scored three goals, and had chances to score more, beside that we finished the match with clean sheet, Hatta is well organized team that deserved more points tan they had and we are happy to win them”. Said the coach.
He added: “am pleased with the performance of the substitute, especially young players like Eid Khamis and Amed Abdellah, now the time is for recovery and treatment of the inured players, because we have another important match against Khorfakan next week”.
