Zaragos: we respect our opponent

 

Gerard Zaragosa the head coach of Shabab Alahli assured that his team is ready for the next match against Khorfakan in the matchweek 5 of the Arabian Gulf League on Sunday at Khorfakan Stadium.

Speaking at the prematch press conference the coach stated that it is good to prepare for the next match after winning last week, pointing out that Khorfakan is  a good team, they won Alain in the cup and against Alwahda it was not easy game.

Zaragosa explained that his team can benefit from the break when the league stop, “we are expecting to recover all the players, even if it is not full break because we have cup game, but of course we will concentrate to prepare all players to be ready” He said.

The coach denied that the tight schedule can affect the team negatively, “we used to this it happen in the AFC Champions league we played  in a raw every three days, it was good for us, and I hope all teams will get experienced to this” He added.

He responded to the question regarding the announcement of the injured and absent players name publicly “we don’t want to give our opponent the chance to know the details of our team and who will be available, finally I always try to replace the absent player with the suitable one”.

Ahmed Jamil who accompanied the coach in the press conference said:  “facing Khorfakkan at home will not be easy, we respect our opponent, from our side we are fully prepared for the match and will strive to win and get the three points,  it will motivate us  more to win the next matches”.
