Our head coach Mahdi Ali accompanied by our player Yahya Alghassani held the pre-match press conference heading to the matchweek 23 of the Arabian Gulf league against Fujairah at Rashid Stadium 5:45 pm on Friday.
Mahdi Ali said the match is important for the team, indicating that they are looking forward to collecting more points and go up in the ranking table, he added: “Fujairah from their side is fighting to escape relegation, so we expected tough match, sure it will be good test for Shabab Alahli before we go to the AG cup final”.
The coach explained that the team got rest period and had the chance to prepare well and recover injured players, he considered the next match as good test for the team before the final of the Arab Gulf Cup and the AFC Champions League.
Commenting on his team’s loss from Fujairah in the first round, Mahdi said: “It was my first match with the team, after just three days, the situation is not like before and the two teams are ready now, we improved a lot from that time and will do all what we have to achieve our target.”
On the other hand, our playerYahya Al-Ghassani, said, “We are playing an important match, against through opponent which trying to escape relegation, so it will not be an easy match for the two teams. We are looking forward to win more points and move up in the ranking.”
