Mahdi Ali: we have to continue working hard

Mahdi Ali, the head coach of Shabab Alahli, promise to continue working hard to improve the team’s position in the league table, stating that despite draw against Aljazira in the last match, the team must fight in the next matches to get more points and move up in the league ranking.

Speaking at the pre match press conference heading to the matchweek 20 of the Arab Gulf League, against Ajman ,Mahdi said that the team is looking forward to achieving positive result, indicating that the match is important for both sides.

The coach mentioned that Shabab Alahli has rich squad and many experienced players, which may make it difficult to choose the starting 11 for the match, but at the same time it gives the technical staff more options.

“Am proud to have this large number of outstanding players, all of them participated in the matches, the team needs them all, for me it is not important who participates, but the most important thing is to win” said Mahdi.

Abdellah Alnaqbi, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, said: “The match is important for the two teams. We have two days to prepare for this important game. we will fight hard and do our best to return with a positive result”.
