Shabab Alahli Basketball Signs Three Foreign Players

As per directives of His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Sector at Shabab Alahli Club, the basketball team signed three foreign players:
Justin Anthony Carter, Michael Charles Meyer and Mamadou Ndayi. The club also signed a contract with the Egyptian coach Ahmed Mari as head coach for the team.
The signing ceremony was attended by Majid Sultan, Executive Director of the Sports Sector, and Zayed Abdullah Khuwaidam, Director of Basketball.
Majed Sultan, the Executive Director of the Sports Sector, praised the efforts of the Chairman of the Board, who is always keen to support different teams, and thanked the members of the Board of Directors for their support.
The coach Ahmed Mari was the former coach for Sporting Club the champion of the Egyptian basketball
league, before he coached Zamalek and Al Jazeera in his home country. Justin Anthony Carter played in Slovakia, Turkey, China, Russia Kazakhstan, born in 1987, and 27-year-old Michael Charles, had professional experiences in Belgium, France and Italy. The Senegalese Mamadou Ndayi, born in Abu Dhabi in 1992, played with Shabab alahli in the last season.
