Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Rodolfo Arruabarrena the head coach of Shabab Alahli club, described the match against Alwasl in the matchweek7 of Arabian Gulf League, as an important and tough encounter, calling upon his players for more concentration to continue winning in the league games.
Rodolfo praised the efforts of the team members in the previous game against Dibba, which resulted in a deserved away win, explaining that the technical staff continued working after the match, and concentrated on the tactical side to improve the performance of the team, pointing out that all players are ready except injured Ahmed Khalil.
The coach expected that the replacement of Alwasl head coach can change the atmosphere, and affect the team in a positive way, as usually happens in football, insisting that Alwasl remains big team regardless of the poor results and low level of performance in the last games.
Arruabarrena commented on the result of the top teams in the last round, after Sharjah drew with Ajman and Alain lost against Aljazeera, he said: “that is good for us, but we have to continue working to improve the performance and results of the team in the coming matches so that we can progress further in the table”.
From his side, Walid Hussein, midfielder of Shabab Alahli who accompanied the coach at the press conference, said that the match brought together two big teams, stressing that they are looking forward to win the game and collect the three points.
