Speaking at the prematch press conference heading to the matchweek 4 of the AFC Champions league against Shahr Khodro of Iran, Gerard Zaragosa the head coach of Shabab Alahli described his opponent as a good team, expecting tough and difficult match.
He pointed out that things will be a lot harder because both teams know each other well.
“We will work on different plans in to ensure we come out on top. We always talk to our players about taking it match-by-match. We are now thinking of Shahr Khodro, and we have to win before we start thinking of the following match.” Said Zaragosa.
Commenting on the performance of the new singing Eduardo Zaragosa said: “Eduardo is a great player. He did really well with Al Hilal last year, and that’s why we wanted to sign him. He looked very good on his debut, even though he had just made his comeback from injury, yet we expect a lot more from him in the next match.”
From his side Ahmed Abdullah Jamil Shabab Alahli player who accompanied the coach in the press conference said: “We promise to fight in order to get another three points from the same team, all players are keen to give their best to reach the sixth point, and then continue fighting in the next matches to qualify for the next stage”.
