Shabab Alahli has qualified to the semifinal of the Arabian Gulf Cup, after beating Khorfakan 5-0 in the second leg of the quarter final.
Igor Jesus opened the score in the first minute, after receiving a pass from Carlos Eduardo, Eduardo and Mohamed Juma scored two goals in the 42nd and 43rd minute to make the result 3-0 before the break.
In the second half the two substitutes Ahmed Alhashimi and Saeed Ahmed added two more goals in 80th and 83rd minute.
Shabab Alahli lineup include Hassan Hamza, Mohamed Marzouq, Hamdan Alakamali, Walid Abbas, Ahmed Jamil, Walid Hussein, Aziz Janief, Carlos Edurado, Cartabia, Mohamed Juma and Igor Jesus.
The second half witnessed four change in Shabab Alahli, Cartabia and Hamdan Alakamali replaced bay Yahya Alghassani and Mohamed Jaber, then Waleed Abbas paved the way for Saeed Ahmed and Ahmed Alhashim came in the place of Igor Jesus.
Mahdi Ali Shabab Alahli head coach disclosed that he planed to score early goal to give more confidence for his team, adding that they gave chances for more players to make them ready for next matches.
Commenting on Waleed Hussein injury Mahdi said: “I hope he will get well soon, we are waiting for the medical report to know the situation”.
