Shabab Al Ahli demolished Sharjah 6-2 at Al Maktoum stadium on Friday to claim the UAE Super Cup for the sixth time in their history.
Ousmane Camara found the breakthrough and broke the deadlock after eight minutes when the Guinean player fired a powerful effort into the back of the net.
Camara became the first Guinean player to score in the Super Cup and the second youngest player to score, aged 22 years,11 months, and six days after Rashid Omar, who netted against Al Ain in 2015 at the age of 19 years, eight months and nine days.

Our head coach Leonardo Jardim expressed his happiness to win the league and called upon fans of Shabab Alahli to attend the final match of ADNOC Pro League, against Ajman on Saturday at 7:35 pm at Rashid Stadium, hoping to make fans happy at the end of the season.
He said, “we faced hard times during the season, but my goal is to finish with big smiles on all faces as players, their families, club staff, and all the fans.”
He added, “. When players trust the coach’s work, he will be able to succeed, players’ confidence helped us to win“.

Jardim congratulated the senior teams for their achievement, “we have a lot of good young players who will join the first team in the near future”.

Our coach, Leonardo Jardim, confirmed that the team had prepared well to face Bani Yas in the 25th matchweek of ADNOC Pro League, at Bani Yas Stadium 9:00 pm on Sunday, indicating that the game is important, and all are fully focused to achieve the 3 points.
He said, “We are 3 points away from winning the league, and this was the goal that we worked for throughout this season. Bani Yas is a strong team, and we will fight hard to achieve our goal, waiting for our fans to support the players and decorate the stadium with red colors.
Our player Jaison Denayer said Bani Yas match will not be easy, describing it as an important game which requires more focus, serious play, and strength in order to achieve the required result and collect the three points that give the team the title.

Shabab Alahli shared spoils with the host Al-Nasr, at Al Maktoum Stadium, within the 23rd matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League, Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 50 points in the top of the table.
Shabab Alahli took the lead early through Yahya Al-Ghassani in the 10th minute, from a perfect pass from Azizoun Janiev, to open the score for his side, and after one minute Al-Nasr scored the equalizer through Abdullah Toure, and the first half ended 1-1
After the break, Shabab Alahli scored the second goal through Federico Cartabia in the 65th minute, with a powerful left shot, and in the last minute Adel Taarabt scored the equalizing goal for the home side.
