Our head coach Paulo Sousa expressed his respect for Dibba Al Hisn, the next opponent in the 25th matchweek of ADNOC Professional League. Shabab Al Ahli Club was crowned champions of the U-21 League after defeating Al Dhafra with a score of 4-2 in their final match of the competition, held this evening.

Shabab Al Ahli’s goals were scored by Ghaith Abdullah (2 goals), Abou Ibrahima Konaté (1 goal), and Nayef Ahmed (1 goal).

The UAE Football Association awarded the Shabab Al Ahli team — including the technical and administrative staff and players — with the league trophy and gold medals, in the presence of club officials.

Speaking at the prematch press conference for the president’s cup final, our head coach Paulo Sousa expressing his happiness at being in the final of the most prestigious competition in UAE. He explained that there is nothing more exciting for football fans than watching two big teams in the final.

The coach explained that the two teams know each other well, having met six times this season. He described Sharjah as a good team, led by an experienced coach wishing him success with UAE national team.

Al Wahda and Shabab Al Ahli shared spoils after 2-2 draw on Sunday at Al Nahyan Stadium, in a rescheduled Matchweek 16 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Wahda took the lead in the 11th minute, Al Wahda doubled their lead in the 40th minute through Sasa Ivkovic.

Saeid Ezatolahi deficit the gap for Shabab Al Ahli in the added-on time of the first half which ended  2-1.

Sardar Azmoun brought them level with a powerful finish in the 54th minute.

Shabab Al Ahli qualified to the ADIB Cup final after a 2–2 draw with Sharjah in the second leg of the semi-finals at Rashid Stadium.

With this result, Shabab Al Ahli advance with a 5–3 aggregate score, having won the first leg 3–1.

Shabab Alahli secured a 3-1 win over Sharjah in the first leg of the ADIB Cup semi-finals, setting up a decisive second leg at Rashid Stadium.

with Renan Victor Da Silva opened the score for the visitors with a header in the 11th minute from a Cartabia free-kick.

Mateus Lima doubled the lead in the 22nd minute, converting a rebound to give Shabab Al Ahli control. Sharjah fought back, and Ousmane Camara pulled one back in the 40th minute with a strong header.

Just before halftime, Renan Victor Da Silva struck again in the 48th minute, finishing another Cartabia assist to restore Shabab Al Ahli’s two-goal cushion. The second half saw fewer chances, though Yuri César forced a great save from Adel Alhosani in the 63rd minute.

Shabab Al Ahli topped the ADNOC Pro League’s table with 47 points, after winning Bani Yas 2-0 in the 18th matchweek tonight at Rashid stadium.

This win helped the Dubai-based side maintain a seven-point lead at the top of the table.

Renan Victor Da Silva opened the score in the 26th minute and the substitute and Yuri Cesar secured a added the second six minutes to the final whistle.

Guilherme Bala scored for Shabab Al Ahli in the 54th minute and Sardar Azmoun added the second goal in the 82nd minute.

The result raised Shabab Alahli’s tally to 44 points at the top of the table, seven points ahead of  second place Sharjah, while Al Orouba’s stops at 3 points at the bottom of the table.

The coach explained that Al Orouba plays on quick counterattack, and usually loses in single goal difference, as happened against Al Wasl and Al Jazira, calling on the players to be committed and responsible from the beginning of the match to its end, and to be focused and creating chances to score goals and win.

Shabab Alahli wins Ajman 3-1

 

Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 41 points in the top of the table after  3-1 win for over Ajman in matchweek 15 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Cartabia gave the lead to the home team after 38 minutes when he successfully converted from a penalty spot and stroked the ball into the bottom corner.

Mateus Lima cemented added the second goal after four minutes, after Guilherme Da Silva teed up the Brazilian player outside the box, and Lima cut inside the box and nodded the ball into the far side of the net.

Guilherme Da Silva picked up the ball inside the box and fired a curling effort from a tight angle to make it 3-0 before the break.

Shabab Alahli wins Dibba Al Hisn 3-0

 

Shabab Alahli topped the table of the ADNOC Pro League after winning 3-0 win over Dibba Al Hisn in their rescheduled Matchweek 12 fixture at Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi Stadium.

Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 38 points, overtaking Sharjah by a single point, while Dibba Al Hisn remains 13th with 9 points.

Mateus Lima opened the scoring in the 25th minute. In the 59th minute, Saeid Ezatolahi doubled the lead with a powerful header from a perfectly delivered corner.

The third goal came in the 73rd minute, as Mateus Lima capitalized on a defensive error to score his second of the match, sealing a dominant victory for his team.

Shabab Al Ahli wins Ajman to reach President’s Cup semi-finals

Shabab Al Ahli qualified for the semi-finals of the UAE President’s Cup, after winning Ajman 2-1 in the quarter-final match at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw, in the second half, Matheus Lima opened the score in the 57th minute, and Ajman scored the equalizer in the 74th minute, and after one minute, Munas Dabbur gave lead to Shabab Al Ahli by scoring the second goal.

Shabab Al Ahli snatched a 2-1 hard-earned victory over Al Jazira on Tuesday in matchweek 13 of the ADNOC Pro League.

The result leads Shabab Al Ahli to the top of the table with 32 points, while Al Jazira sit fifth with 21 points.

Excitedness was present in the first half, especially in the last fifteen minutes, when three goals were scored to break the silence of the game.

It was Cartabia, who broke the deadlock, after 36 minutes when he was teed up inside the box as his first-time volley was saved by Al Jazira’s goalkeeper Ali Khaseif and he nodded the rebound in.

The Pride of Abu Dhabi’s response came very quickly two minutes after Cartabia’s opener when Khalifa Alhammadi lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper to restore the parity for Al Jazira.

Shabab Al Ahli crowned champions of the Challenge Shield after winning their host Al Rayyan 3-1 in the UAE-Qatar Super Cup match at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.

Shabab Al Ahli took the lead in 28th minute through Yuri Sezar, and Al Rayyan leveled the score at the end of the first half.

Just seven minutes after the break, Shabab Al Ahli came back again and scored the second goal by Sardar Azmoun, while Guilherme Bala made it 3-1 in the dying minutes.
