Shabab Al Ahli and Al Wasl shared spoils after 2-2 draw at Rashid Stadium in matchweek 24 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Ahmad Noorollah put the hosts ahead early in the second half, hammering home an assist header from Syrian forward Omar Khribin to the delight of the Rashid Stadium crowd.

Yahya AlGhassani doubled his side’s lead, three minutes before the hour-mark, when he was teed up by Yuri Cesar inside the box, as the former as he kept his composure and lashed home a shot into the bottom corner to cap off a swift counter-attack.Eight minutes later, Fabio De Lima reduced the deficit for Al Wasl and made it 1-2 when he met Felipe Gutierrez’s low cross with a clinical finish from outside the box into the top corner of the net beating goalkeeper Hassan Hamza Ali.

Al Wasl leveled the scoring in the stoppage time through Ghanem Ahmed.

The result means that Shabab Al Ahli are still at the top of the ADNOC Pro League’s table with 51 points, while Al Wasl are fourth with 44 points.

Jardim: We fight for points and do our best against all opponents

Our head coach, Leonardo Jardim, said that the 21st matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League against Al Ain, at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium at 10 pm on Saturday, is considered one of the important games in the league.

He said: “All matches in the league are important for us. We enter all games with one goal just to win, regardless of the opponent. In all cases, we play in order to collect three points.”

The coach explained that the preparations went well, indicating that some injured players are recovered, and other players who not participating regularly are now ready, he added: “we respect all opponents, but I focus more on my team and work hard to reach the highest level”.

Shabab Alahli beats Khorfakan to reach 45 points

Shabab Alahli continued the top of the ADNOC Pro League table with 45 points, after winning Khorfakkan 3-1 at Rashid Stadium in matchweek 20 on.

Shabab Alahli took the lead earlier after 17 minutes from kickoff, through Omar Khribin. In the last minute of the first half home side extended their lead from a penalty spot when Cartabia converted the penalty to score the second goal.

In 76th minute Khorfakan scored their lone goal to deficit the gap, while substitute Salmin Khamis sealed the victory for his side scoring the 3rd goal in 82nd minute.

Shabab Alahli lineup included Majed Naser, Mohamed Marzouq, Walid Abbas, Ahmed Jamil, Abdelaziz Haikal, Aziz Janiev, Ahmed Noor, Cartabia, Yuri Sezar, Yahya Alghassani, Omar Khrbin.

Jardim: we need to win to continue on top

Our head coach Leonardo Jardim, stressed the importance of the next match against Khorfakan in the 20th matchweek of ADNOC Professional League, at Rashid Stadium at 5:45 pm on Friday, indicating that the team is looking forward to win all matches.

He said: “If we want to continue on the top of the league, we must collect the three points in the next match. We realize that Khorfakan is a good team, it is home match, and we need to win it”.

Commenting on winning last match against Al-Jazira Jardim said: “I do not look at the standings table, but I focus on developing my team. If we continue fighting like what we did against Al-Jazira in the second half, we can win the league title.

Our player Mohamed Marzouq, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, confirmed that all focus is on the next game against Khorfakan, indicating that the opponent is not an easy team.

Shabab Alahli back on top after winning Al Jazira

Shabab Alahli beat Al Jazira 3-2 and returned to the top of the ADNOC Pro League’s table on Saturday. Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 42 points in the first place, while Al Jazira are sixth with 33 points.

Al Jazir took the head after 19 minutes through Ali Mabkhout from penalty spot, Mamadou Coulibaly scored the second in the 31st minute.

Just two minutes after the break Omar Khribin reduced the deficit opening the score for Shabab Alahli. In the 71st minute Omar Khribin turned from a scorer to a provider after setting up Yahya AlGhassani inside the box who scored the second goal to make it 2-2.

Federico Cartabia completed the dramatic comeback for Shabab Alahli from the spot to give his side the three points.

The coordination meeting for the Shabab Alahli and Al-Ain match in the President’s Cup quarterfinals was held today, at the headquarters of the UAE Football Association in Dubai, the scheduled 6 of March, at Rashid Stadium.

As agreed in the meeting Shabab Alahli will wear the red kit while Al-Ain will appear in white color. Entrance gates for Shabab Alahli fans are 5-6-7, and Al-Ain fans gates 2-3-4.

The meeting was chaired by Ayman Haroun, the match supervisor, in the presence of the club’s representatives, and the match officials: Ahmed Al Kaabi, the match observer, Abdul Rahman Al Jarwan, access coordinator, and Abdullah Al Saadi, the media coordinator.

Shabab Alahli wins Al Dhafra 2-0

Shabab Alahli moved to the top of the table raising its tally to 36 points, after beating Al Dhafra 2-0 in the 17th matchweek of Adnoc professional league at Rashid Stadium, the two goals scored by Azizjon Ganiev and Federico Nicolas Cartabia.

Azizjon Ganiev had put Shabab Al Ahli ahead in the 23rd minute after firing a sublime strike from outside the box into the top corner of the net, beating goalkeeper Abdulla Sultan Alnasri.

Three minutes after the hour-mark, Cartabia added the second goal and sealed the victory for the Dubai-based side when he was teed up by Yahya AlGhassani inside the box; as he kept his composure and curled the ball into the back of the net.

Al Wahda, Shabab Al Ahli Share the Spoils in ADNOC Pro League

Al Wahda and Shabab Al Ahli shared the spoils at Al Nahyan Stadium after playing out a 1-1 draw in matchweek 16 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.

Four minutes after the hour-mark, Shabab Al Ahli were awarded a penalty kick after Cartabia was brought down by Lucas Pimenta inside the box. He stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to give his side the lead.

Twelve minutes before the time, Ala Zhir hit the equalizer for Al Wahda when he timed his run perfectly to head in Matheus Pereira’s cross.

The result means that Al Wahda sit third with 31 points, while Shabab Al Ahli are now second with 33 points.

Shabab Alahli wins Dibba 5-1 to maintain Lead at ADNOC Pro League

Shabab Alahli maintained their position at the top of the ADNOC Pro League after securing a 5-1 comfortable win over Dibba at Rashid Stadium in matchweek 15 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.

The Dubai-based side needed 36 minutes to break the deadlock and open the scoring when Yuri Cesar’s first attempt was denied by Dibba’s goalkeeper Humaid Abdulla as the ball fell to Omar Khribin who poked the rebound into the back of the net.

Just two minutes before the break, Shabab Al Ahli were awarded a penalty kick when Yuri Cesar was elbowed away by Dibba’s defender Marcelo Dos Santos inside the penalty box, prompting the referee to point to the spot. Federico Nicolas Cartabia stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to make it 2-0.

Omar Khribin grabbed his brace and made it 3-0 in the 51st minute when met Yuri Cesar’s brilliant low cross inside the box with a clinical finish into the bottom corner of the net.

The momentum was with Shabab Al Ahli, and it was no surprise when they extended their lead in the 62nd minute when Omar Khribin put Yahya AlGhassani through on goal as the latter curled a left-footed shot into the back of the net, to make it 4-0.

In the 71st minute, Dibba pulled one back when Tafadzwa Dhliwayo capitalized on a defender’s mistake and sent a nice pass to Edu who drilled the ball into the far bottom corner of the net, to make it 1-4.

The Dubai-based side made it 5-1 when Harib Abdalla Suhail picked up the ball on the right flank and skipped past two defenders; before sending a low cross into the six-yard box, where Cheickna Doumbia met with a clinical finish.

The victory means that Shabab Al Ahli are topping the table with 32 points, while Dibba remain bottom with just 4 points.

Shabab Alahli lost against Al Dhafra 3-2 at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium, in matchweek 4th of the ADNOC Pro League. The result saw Shabab Alahli in the 5th place with six points, while Aldafra is in the 12th place with four points.

Al Dhafra took the lead after Nineteen minutes through Ahmed Fawzi picked, twelve minutes after the break Walid Karoui added second goal for the home team.

Mohamed Rayhi extended Aldhfra lead in the 59th minute scoring the 3rd goal, while Omar Khribin deficit the gap scoring the first goal for Shabab Alahli, and Yahya Alghassani added the 2nd in the added-on time.

Shabab Alahli collected three points after beating its host Dibba 2-1, in the second matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League, at Dibba stadium.
The hosts took the lead in the last minute of the first half, in the 2nd half the substitute Yuri Cesar scored the equalizer with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the 66th minute.
Second half substitute Doumbia scored the 2nd goals just 4 minutes to the final whistle to give his side three points.
Doumbia lineup included: Majed Nasser, Mohammad Marzouq, Walid Abbas, Ahmed Jamil, Badr Nasser, Ahmed Nour Allah, Gustavo, Harib Abdellah, Omar Khribin, Igor Jesus.

Shabab Alahli defeats Baniyas 3-1

Shabab Alahli defeated the guest, Baniyas, 3-1 in the 25th matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League, at Rashid Stadium.
Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 39 points, while Baniyas’ is in the 9th place with 30 points.

Baniyas opened the score earlier in the 9th minute, through Sayed Khamis, and Walid Abbas scored the equalizer for Shabab Alahli in the 38th minute, after receiving brilliant cross from Kartabia.

Shabab Alahli team crowned as champion of the U-21 Youth League, after defeating Alarabi team 5-0 in the last matches of the league.

Shabab Alahli head Coach Mahdi Ali assured that his team is ready to face Aljazira in the super cup match, at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Friday 7:45 pm.

Speaking at the prematch press conference, Mahdi Ali stated that super cup is very important for Shabab Alahli as the first championship in the season, adding that they are the title holders and looking forward to win the cup again.

He said: “cup finals are very special, such games need more focus and both teams know each other”.

Regarding the absence of some key players, Mahdi said: “we will miss some players, but the team will not be affected, I have faith in all my players”.

Majed Nasser who accompanied the coach in the press conference said: “I am happy to play Super Cup, we are prepared well for the match, both teams knows each other well, the most important thing is to fight for winning, we will give everything we have to win the championship”.

Mahdi Ali: we have to focus on the next match

Shabab Alahli head Coach Mahdi Ali held the prematch press conference heading to the match against Ajman, in the second leg of the Professional Cup quarterfinals, at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium on Monday 7:30 pm.

Mahdi Ali stated that he is looking forward to getting positive result when facing Ajman in the second leg at their home ground, indicating that the opponent is strong team, that showed great performance in the last matches.

We must forget what happened in against Baniyas, and focus on the next match with Ajman, “we need to secure our place in the semifinal of the professional cup, we were the champions and have to fight to defend our title” he said.

Mahdi explained that the team will miss the services of more than 5 key players, he added: “some key players will be out of the action, but I have faith in all players and confident they will do their best to secure qualifying to the semifinal”.

Shabab Alahli wins Ajman to reach cup semifinal

Shabab Alahli qualified for the semi-final of the Professional Cup, after defeating host Ajman 1-0, in the 2nd leg of the quarter-final at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium.

Mehdi Qayedi scored the lone goal in the 32nd minute, with a powerful shot to give his side the lead in the first half, after the break Ajman tried to equalize but they failed to reach back of the net.

Mahdi Ali, Shabab Alahli head coach, confirmed the that his team is ready to face Baniyas in the 12th matchweek of the ADNOC Professional League at Baniyas Stadium on Thursday 7:30 pm.

Speaking at the prematch press conference, Mahdi described the match as important, noting that the opponent lost the previous round match, and they will do their best to come back to the winning ways.

Shabab Alahli beats Al Dhafra to reach President’s Cup quarterfinals

Shabab Alahli qualified to the quarterfinals, for the UAE President’s Cup quarterfinals, after beating host Al Dhafra 1-0 at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium, the goal scored by Hamdan Al Kamali from penalty spot in the 20th minute.

Shabab Alahli started the match offensively searching for early goal, creating some chances but failed to reach the back of the net.

after 15 minutes from the start of the match, Omar Abdel-Rahman suffered an injury and replaced by the Brazilian Yuri Cesar.

Mehdi Qayedi got penalty after being fouled inside the box, Hamdan Al-Kamali converted penalty to goals in the 20th minute to give his team three points.

Shabab Alahli shares spoils with Al-Nasr

Shabab Alahli drew 1-1 with the host Al-Nasr, in the matchweek 10 of the ADNOC Professional League, at Al Maktoum Stadium, the result saw the two teams with 17 points, Shabab Alahli ranked 3rd and Al-Nassr in the 4th place.

Two teams played goalless draw in the first half, while Substitute Mahdi Qayedi opened the score for Shabab Alahli in the 64th minute.

Al-Nasr scored the equalizer through Portuguese Tozi from the penalty spot in the 86th minute.

Shabab Al Ahli share spoils with Al Ain

Shabab Al Ahli could hold top-of-the-standings Al Ain to a 1-1 draw at Rashid stadium in the eighth week of ADNOC Pro League.

Having racked up 17 points in seven weeks, Al Ain went into the game hoping they can flee away with the standings’ top spot they have kept for several weeks, especially, after Al Jazira’s win over Baniyas yesterday left then only one point behind Al Ain.

Most of the first half’s action took place in the last five minutes when Kouame Autonne put the visitors ahead with a goal in the 44th minute two minutes before Eduardo leveled the score for Shabab Al Ahli in the first minute of the added time.

The draw enabled Al Ain to keep the standing’s lead for a further week as they earned their 18th point; two points clear of closest chasers Al Jazira, whereas Shabab Al Ahli remained in third place on 15 points.

A stubborn Ittihad Kalba once again denied strong Shabab Al Ahli vital points with a goalless draw in early Round Nine action of the ADNOC Pro League, on Tuesday.

Needing an outright win to keep pace with the top two teams – Al Ain and Al Jazira – Shabab Al Ahli were pushed on the backfoot through long spates of the match by a well-organised and disciplined Ittihad Kalba.

Of late, Ittihad Kalba have shown tremendous improvement with the highlight coming in last week’s Round Eight following a 3-0 win against Al Nasr at their Maktoum Stadium.

The one point kept the visiting Shabab Al Ahli on the tail of the top two teams as they went up to 16 points, while Ittihad Kalba continued their steady improvement with eleven points to their name.

Shabab Alahli wins Aljazira 2-1

Shabab Al Ahli Dubai fought back from a goal down to register a 2-1 win against visiting Al Jazira in late night seventh round action of the UAE ADNOC Pro League, on Friday.

Young Abdullah Ramadan gave the visitors the lead in the 15th minute when he sent in a deft left-footed placement to the right of goalkeeper Majed Nasser after being fed by Ali Mabkhout.

Denied an Abdullah Al Naqbi goal in the 31st minute after being judged off-side, Shabab Al Ahli bagged the equalizer in the 39th minute when Yuri Cesar volleyed home at the far post from a corner kick.

Shabab Al Ahli scored a second in the 72nd minute after Ahmad Noorollah found his way past Ali Khasief after being fed by Carlos Eduardo.

The home team then sat back and soaked in the attacks from Al Jazira to bag the vital home win that took them past Al Jazira into second place with 14 points.

Al Ain are at the top of the standings with 17 points following their 2-0 win against Al Wasl, on Thursday.
