Shabab Alahli came from behind to beat Fujairah 3-2 at Rashid Stadium in matchweek 23 of the Arabian Gulf League on Friday.

Fujairah took the lead earlier just two minutes after the kiack off and added second goal in 31st minute.

Igor Jesus deficit the gap by scoring first goal for the host six minutes before the break. Seven minutes after restart Shabab Alahli equalized through Mohamed Juma.

Thanks to the 19 years old Brazilian Igor Jesus who scored hat-rick to give Shabab Alahli their second win in the league, the result helped Shabab Alahli to move to the 4th place with 8 points.

Commenting on the injured players Zaragosa stated: “we are confident some of the injured players will return to the team soon, we can improve more with their return, regarding Ahmed Khalil he is not playing due to injury, the medical team is working with him and we hope he will recover soon and join the team”.

Shabab Al Ahli and Al Ain played out a 1-1 draw at Rashid Stadium in matchweek 2 of the Arabian Gulf League on Friday.

Laba Kodjo opened the score for the visitors in 55th minute, while Yousif Jaber equalized for the home side in 75th minute.

Gerard Zaragosa Shabab Alahli head coach held the prematch press conference for the first match in the new season against Aldhafra in the first round of the Arabian Gulf Cup, accompanied by Fedreco Cartabia.

Zaragosa started the press conference by stating that it is the second time to held this press conference for the same match, pointing out that the difference is that the they are coming back from AFC Champions League after playing four matches in which the team showed strong character.

The coach assured that the team is ready for the match and will not be affected by the absence of the key players who joined national team camp, beside injured players.

Shabab Alahli Club, Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Police held a coordination meeting at Rashid Stadium on 6 July, to discuss practical steps for the return of sports fans to stadiums, and the application of necessary precautionary measures in the stadium.

It was agreed to implement the social distance between the fans in the stands, club officials and administrators, in addition to some measures aimed at protecting players and technical staff of the teams.

The social distance will be applied in all stadium facilities starting from the car parking, the VIP area and fans seats, as well as in training centers inside the gym.

With regard to the players they have to use one door for entry and another different door for exit, beside wearing their full sport equipment.
