Shabab Alahli trashes Ajman 5-2
Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 43 points at the top of the Arabian Gulf League table, after demolishing host Ajman 5-2, in the at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, in the 19th matchweek.
Shabab Alahli took the lead in the 34th minute through Ahmed Khalil, and Leonardo scored the second goal in the 44th minute to finish the first half 2-0.
In the second half William Oso narrowed the gap in the 51st minute, before Vander Vieira equalized the score in the 64th minute from the penalty spot.
Shabab Alahli scored the third goal in the 76th minute through Federico Cartabia from the penalty spot, the fourth goal for Shabab Alahli was own goal through Ajman defender Mohammed Sabeel, while Ahmed Khalil scored the fifth goal in the 85th minute.

The match is the first for the new coach Gerard Zaragosa, who spoke at the post match press, thanking his players for the performance, considering that the three points is the most important thing, promising to work on correcting mistakes and seeking to develop the team level more.

AFC postpones Shabab Alahli vs Shahr Khodro match
Asian Football Federation has decided to postpone the next match of Shabab Al Ahli club in the AFC Champions League against Shahr Khodro of Iran scheduled on March 3rd as a result the worldwide impact of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is to call further emergency meetings with the representatives of MAs and its Leagues from both the East and West regions next week as the AFC continues to manage the situation.
The meeting of the East Zone representatives will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday and the West Zone meeting will follow on March 7 and 8, 2020.
Dato’ Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said: “These are unprecedented and challenging times, but the AFC is working tirelessly to monitor the situation, including the various travel restrictions, while being in constant contact with our Member Associations, Leagues and Clubs.
“We are grateful for the support we have received from all our stakeholders, including our Commercial and Broadcast partners and agencies, as we try to protect the safety and well-being of all our players, officials and spectators while also ensuring the integrity of the competitions.”

Shabab Alahli assistant coach Diego attended the prematch press conference in behalf of the head coach Rodolfo Arruebarrena, heading to the matchweek 17 of the Arabian Gulf League against Baniyas at Baniyas Stadium on Friday, he was accompanied by our rising star Eid Khamis.
The coach stated that his team returns to the league after short break to face Baniyas again after losing to them in the UAE President’s cup, pointing out that Shabab Alahli was under pressure after four matches without winning.

Shabab Alahli failed to reach the semifinal as they lost to Baniyas 1-0 in the quarter-final match of the UAE President’s cup, at Khalifa Bin Zayed stadium in Alain city on Friday.

According to the AFC Champions League draw that took place today in Kuala Lumpur, Shabab Alahli will be in group B alongside with Al-Hilal Saudi, Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor and the qualifier of match 3 in the preliminary round of the competition.

Shabab Alahli qualified for the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf cup after beating Al Wasl 5-1 in the quarterfinal match at the Rashid Stadium in Dubai.
Mohamed Marzouq opened the score for the home side in the 19th minute, five minutes later Abdullah Jassem equalized for the visitors. In the second half Leonardo scored the second goal for Shabab Alahli in the 62 minute.

Shabab Al Ahli’s Community Department organized a humanitarian sports event in collaboration with ABBC company for the orphaned players who are belonging to the club under “Zayed’s Children” slogan.

Shabab Alahli first team has completed the signing of Federico Cartbaia, who is playing in the wing and ass attacking midfield, he signed the contract in the club head quarter in Alnahda and started the training with the team in preparation for the new season.
Cartbaia who was Born in Rosario, Argentina, on January 20, 1993, began his football career at an early age with Valencia, before being loaned to Cordoba, from where he moved to Deportivo La Coruna. He played also for the Argentina national team under 20.

Shabab Alahli finished second in the Arabian Gulf League with 53 points from 26 matches, after losing to Fujairah 3-1 In the matchweek 26 of the league at Shabab Alahli stadium in Alawir Saturday night.
Mauro Diaz opened the score for Shabab Alahli in 15th minute after he received brilliant pass from Emiliano inside the box. Second goal for Shabab Alahli scored by Lovanour was cancelled according to the Video Assistance Referee decision.
The referee awarded the hosts a penalty, but Shabab Alahli goalkeeper Majed Naser saved the shot of Fujairah striker Mohamed Bin Yatto, in the 39 minute, Bin Yatto came back to score the first goal for his side and the first half ended 1-1.

Shabab Alahli dominated the match from the kickoff, and created some chances, but against the run of the play Baniyas scored the first goal through Michael Ortega in the 6th minute.
After conceding the early goal, the hosts continued their attempts to equalize, and in the 16th minute the defender Mohamed Sabeel leveled the score when he received the ball inside the box and sent powerful shot into the back of the net.

Shabab Alahli raised its tally to 50 points after winning a Alnasr 3-1 in the matchweek 24 of the Arabian Gulf League at Al Maktoum Stadium on Friday night.

Jaime Ayouvi scored hat-trick to lead Shabab Alahli to 5-1 away win over Emirates, in the matchweek 22 of the Arabian Gulf league, at the Emirates Club stadium in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday. The other two goals were scored by Mohammed Jaber and Mohammed Marzouq.
Shabab Alahli regained the second spot with 44 points, while Emirates remained in 12th place with 15 points.

Shabab Alahli vs Emirates prematch press conference
